TweetBox - 2011 (Group Project)

TweetBox takes an international icon that has fallen on hard times - the phone box - and gives it a new and heroic role. Using existing technology, anybody can record a thought, suggestion, complaint, rant or appreciation. Once spoken, this becomes a tweet, specific to that box. Followers of @tweetboxglasgow (for example) can pick up potential tasks and respond with real action.

TweetBox can be at the centre of community development.







TweetBox was created over 3 days in March 2011 as part of the Global Service Jam where people got together in groups all over the world to develop and prototype new service concepts. The theme of the service jam was '(Super) Heroes'.
